The Fiji congregation at Wesley Taranaki Street in
Wellington, started off in the late 1970’s as a small fellowship group. It has
since grown in numbers and is now a registered congregation under the New
Zealand Methodist Conference.

Our church services are conducted in Fijian and it follows
the same procedures used by the Methodist Church of Fiji & Rotuma. Time and
venue of our services are as follows:
Week one 12:30pm Lotu Ni Vulavou/Lotu ni Vanua
Week two 4:00pm Normal church service
Week three 9:30am Congregational Camp Service
Week four 4:00pm Normal Church Service

Other
Activities
Church camps (Spiritual revival) are held at
Taranaki Wesley Parish Hall on every third weekend of every month starting on
Friday evening and ends with a church service at 9:30am on Sunday morning.
Prayer meetings and bible studies are held
every Saturdays except for the 1st and 3rd Saturdays.
Choir practices are held after prayer meetings on
Saturdays except for the 1st and 3rd Saturdays.
